Crystal believes that it is essential to prioritize the voices of our teachers, students, and parents. As a Board member, Crystal will devote her time to listening to the ideas and concerns of teachers, administrators and families, as they are the closest to the issues at hand.
Communication
The next four years will be filled with truly unprecedented challenges. As we face reentering schools during and after the Covid-19 crisis, and managing a drastic budget deficit, we need a leader like Crystal Czubernat who is innovative, creative, and driven to ensure the PUSD community not only survives, but meets the needs of all students, and is prepared to face the future.
In recent years, the community has been surprised and disappointed by key decisions the Board has made, and Crystal believes transparency and community involvement will enable PUSD to reach the most effective solutions. It’s time to move forward and begin to build a new and stronger PUSD. Crystal will work to bridge the gap, and ensure the communities of East Pasadena and Sierra Madre have a voice in key decisions.
